15-Year-Old Carter Heise Killed in Plano, TX Accident

Teen dies in two-vehicle crash that injured three others

A tragic accident occurred on March 2 in Plano, Texas, when 15-year-old Carter Heise of Murphy was killed in a two-vehicle crash on Independence Parkway near West Plano Parkway. A blue Chevrolet Volt traveling at excessive speed crossed the median and struck a northbound Lincoln Navigator carrying Heise and three others. Heise died at the scene, and three passengers were hospitalized. Authorities continue to investigate the crash.We send our thoughts and prayers to the victims’ families.
