Teen Fatally Struck While Sitting at Bus Stop on Carson Street

A tragic accident occurred on June 11 in Long Beach when 15-year-old Carlos Ramirez was killed while sitting on a bench at a bus stop on Carson Street. A speeding driver ran a red light, causing a crash that sent a vehicle onto the sidewalk, striking Ramirez. A GoFundMe  page has been created to help his family with funeral expenses. Authorities are investigating. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
