13-Year-Old Nora Caven Injured In Mapleton, MN Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on August 5th in Mapleton, Minnesota.  Five bicyclists were injured when their group was struck by a motorist on County Road 7. One of the victims was identified as 13-year-old Nora Caven who suffered serious injuries. The car collided with a group of bicycle riders who were also traveling south. Out of the group of eight cyclists, five were struck and required hospitalization. MSP continues to investigate the incident. We send our thoughts and prayers to the victim.
