Nicolas was riding the motorcycle with his 35-year-old stepfather Jonathan Deal, when an SUV made a left-hand turn in front of the westbound motorcycle at the intersection of Coffee and Hageman Roads. Mr. Deal was transported to Kern Medical, and then was airlifted to Loma Linda hospital where he remains in critical condition. Sadly., Nicholas was tragically pronounced dead at the scene. The accident remains under investigation.
