12-Year-Old Hayden Wood Injured In Hamilton, OH Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on Monday, September 13 around 7 PM in Hamilton, Ohio. 12-year-old Hayden Wood was seriously injured after being struck by a hit and run vehicle on Franklin Street, right outside his home. The driver was traveling more than double the speed limit in the area when they struck the victim and fled the scene. Wood was taken to Cincinnati Children’s Hospital after sustaining fractures in his face and head. The young victim's classmates from Highland Elementary School placed balloons at the family's home. The crash remains under investigation and we send our thoughts and prayers to the young victim.
