A tragic accident occurred on December 22 in Winnetka, California, when 12-year-old Louis Powell Jr. was struck and killed by a suspected drunk driver around 3 a.m. while walking near Saticoy Street and Winnetka Avenue. The driver was arrested on suspicion of DUI. Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances of the crash. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
