Passenger Zachary Evans died in a two-vehicle crash along Ohio Route 430 when a driver failed to yield to oncoming traffic. Consequently, a Kia was struck by a westbound 2014 Ford F-150 pickup truck. The impact sent the Kia off the north side of the road, while the pickup crashed into a utility pole. A passenger in the Kia, identified as 30-year-old Zachary Evans, was transported to OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital where he was pronounced dead. The Mansfield post of OSHP is investigating the cause of the crash.
