Yolanda Hernandez Killed In Long Beach, CA Accident

Tragic accident that occurred on December 9 in Long Beach, California. Yolanda Hernandez died in a hit-and-run crash at Atlantic Avenue and 28th Street. The driver fled but later returned to speak with investigators. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. She was later identified by the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner as Yolanda Hernandez. Officers continue to investigate the crash but do not believe impairment, distracted driving, or speed to be contributors. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
