Mother dies after family vehicle struck by suspected drunk driver

A tragic accident occurred on October 2 in Denison, Texas, when Xochitl Monsivais was struck by an alleged impaired driver on U.S. Highway 69 near Snow Road. According to the Grayson County Sheriff’s Office, a vehicle rear-ended her family’s car as they prepared to turn. Monsivais was rushed to Texoma Medical Center, where she later died. Four others, including three children, were injured. A GoFundMepage was created to support the family. We send our thoughts and prayers to the victim’s.
