Tragic accident that occurred on September 6 in Hemet, California. A fast-spreading wildfire east of Hemet has claimed the lives of two people, destroyed or damaged multiple structures and forced the evacuation of numerous residents. The so-called Fairview Fire was first reported at Fairview Avenue and Bautista Road and quickly spread over 2,000 acres with only 5 percent containment. Two deaths were reported but no additional specifics were released. The exact cause of the blaze remains under investigation. We send our thoughts and prayers to the families of the victims.
