Tony Moore Killed In Mint Hill, NC Accident

Crash on I-485

Tragic accident that occurred on January 24 in Mint Hill, North  Carolina. Tony Moore, a former Charlotte Fire Department Captain, lost his life after being hit by a vehicle on I-485. A crash involving three vehicles occurred when Moore came to the crash scene to help his son, Anthony Moore, who was also involved in the wreck. As he tried to cross the interstate, he was hit by a Chevrolet pickup truck. Moore sustained fatal injuries and died at the scene. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
