Teri Lynn Wharton Injured In Merced, CA Accident

DUI crash on G Street and Olive Avenue

Tragic accident that occurred on November 22 in Merced, California. Teri Lynn Wharton continues to recover after being struck by a hit-and-run driver at the intersection of G Street and Olive Avenue. The driver was later apprehended and charged with felony DUI and felony hit-and-run. Sadly, Wharton sustained among other injuries, a broken jaw, broken spine, broken hips, broken legs and broken ankles. She has undergone five surgeries and may never walk again. Wharton will likely need additional surgeries and faces a long recovery. A GoFundMe page has been set up for Wharton to help her pay for medical expenses. We send our thoughts and prayers to the victim.
