Silvia Gil Injured In Chicago, IL Accident

Hit and run on Ontario Street

Tragic accident that occurred on January 21 in Chicago, Illinois. Silvia Gil was injured and her newborn baby was left fighting for his life after a hit-and-run collision at the corner of Ontario Street and Wabash Avenue in River North. A Chevrolet sedan collided with a pickup truck in the intersection and the sedan subsequently struck the two couples. Three people from the sedan fled the scene on foot. One of the victims, Silvia Gill, was seven months pregnant. The victims were transported to an area hospital where Gill underwent an emergency C-section. The baby is fighting for his life. Chicago police are looking for the suspects, but no one so far is in custody. We send our thoughts and prayers to the victim.
