Sammy Perez Injured In Lubbock, TX Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on September 7 in Lubbock, Texas. Sammy Perez was seriously injured after being struck by a hit-and-run driver on 4th St. The victim was pulling along luggage and using his phone to send a friend his GPS location to be picked up when he was hit and sent into a ditch. The driver fled the scene after the incident. Perez was taken to the University Medical Center for treatment of his injuries. The crash remains under investigation.  We send our thoughts and prayers to the victim.
