Robert Cox Killed In Grain Valley, MO Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on November 15 in Grain Valley, Missouri. Robert Cox was killed in a multi-vehicle crash involving two tractor-trailers on Interstate 70. A 2020 Kenworth tractor-trailer and a 2004 Ford Excursion SUV slowed for traffic when an International tractor-trailer struck the rear of the SUV and shoved it into a guardrail. The International continued and hit the rear of the Kenworth. A passenger in the International, 28-year-old Robert T. Cox was transported to Centerpoint Medical Center where he was pronounced dead. MSHP continues to investigate the cause of the accident. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
