Tragic accident that occurred on January 9 in Gurnee, Illinois. Ricky Smallwood lost his life in a head-on collision along Route 41. A Nissan, driven by a 32-year-old man, was traveling south in the northbound lane when it collided head-on with a Ford Edge driven by the victim. Smallwood was killed in the crash. The accident remains under investigation by the sheriff's office. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
