Philomena Manturi Killed In Calabash, NC Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on February 28 in Calabash, North Carolina. Philomena Manturi succumbed to injuries two days after a motor vehicle collision along U.S. Route 17. A Mercury Grand Marquis, driven by Philomena, was traveling north in the left turn lane when she attempted a left turn and was struck by a second Grand Marquis. On Tuesday Manturi was pronounced dead. The accident remains under investigation. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
