Paul Douglas White Injured In Lee, IA Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on November 2 in Lee, Iowa. Paul Douglas White is recovering from injuries sustained in a fatal accident at the intersection of Highway 218 and Highway 16. White was driving a 1995 Kenworth truck southbound when a 2017 BMW approached the intersection and the driver failed to obey a stop sign, enter the intersection, leading to a collision. White was injured in the crash and was transported to Henry County Hospital for treatment. The BMW driver was pronounced dead at the scene. The Iowa State Patrol, along with the Lee County Sheriff's Office, is continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the accident. We send our thoughts and prayers to the victim.
