One-Year-Old Carter Shepard Injured In Delaware, IA Accident

Tragic accident that occurred on February 16th in Delaware, Iowa. One-year-old Carter Shepard was injured when the minivan the young child was traveling in was struck by an SUV on Highway 20. The child was traveling in a westbound vehicle when a van was struck by a GMC Yukon. Authorities said that the GMC was eastbound when the SUV drifted onto the shoulder of the road, overcorrected, and went through the median, striking the Dodge. Shepard was rushed to MercyOne Medical Center in Dubuque for treatment. The crash remains under investigation. We send our thoughts and prayers to the young victim.
