Nikolas Hutto Killed In Cook, IL Accident

Tragic accident that occurred on April 7 in Cook, Illinois. Octavio Lara Chavez was arrested in connection with the death of pedestrian Nikolas Hutto alongside Interstate 55. That's when a Dodge pickup truck veered onto the shoulder and struck the car and two of the pedestrians. Hutto was transported to an area hospital where he later succumbed to injuries. Chavez – was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. He was later arrested on suspicion of aggravated driving under the influence involving death and aggravated driving under the influence causing great bodily harm.
