Nelda Standley Killed In Angelina, TX Accident

Head on collision on Highway 103

Tragic accident that occurred on March 24th in Angelina, Texas. Nelda Standley was tragically killed when her car was struck head-on by another driver on Highway 103. Standley’s Nissan Maxima was hit by an eastbound Toyota 4Runner driven by a 46-year-old man. Witnesses told investigators that a school bus stopped with its lights activated and a stop sign out in the right lane ahead of him. Tarver reportedly swerved left to avoid colliding with a stopped vehicle and crossed into oncoming traffic, striking Standley’s Nissan. Sadly, Standley was pronounced dead at the scene.  We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
