Woman injured after pickup truck crashes into home on Waterworks Road

A tragic accident occurred on May 2 in Bell County, Texas, when a Chevrolet Silverado driven by Michael Curtis Gaines crashed into a home on Waterworks Road. Authorities said a woman was pinned between the exterior wall of the residence and a boat in the backyard before being rescued and transported to Baylor Scott & White Medical Center for treatment. Gaines was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence. The investigation is ongoing. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
