Meranda Griffin was one of two people who lost their lives in a single-vehicle crash on Highway 31. The vehicle left the south side of the roadway and hit a tree, catching fire. Passenger, 28-year-old Meranda Nichole Griffin, was pronounced dead at the scene. DPS is leading an investigation into the cause of the crash.
