Melissa Pedersen Injured In Malvern, IA Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on December 2 in Malvern, Iowa. Melissa Pedersen was seriously injured in a two-vehicle crash at Highway 34 and 315th Street. A 2005 Nissan was traveling north when the driver failed to yield the right-of-way and was broadside by a 2004 Dodge occupied by two people. The Dodge driver, Pedersen, suffered incapacitating injuries and was transported to UNMC. The sheriff's office continues to investigate. We send our thoughts and prayers to the victim.
