Mckae Carnes-Thompson Killed In Sumter, SC Accident

DUI accident on S. Carolina 441

Tragic accident that occurred on April 5 in Sumter, South Carolina. Mckae Kristopher Carnes-Thompson sadly lost his life after a DUI accident on South Carolina 441. Carnes-Thomson was sitting stationary in the median on a 2023 Honda motorcycle when a Ford driver attempted to overtake the Nissan, entered the median, and hit Carnes-Thomson. The Eastover man suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene. The Ford driver was later arrested on a felony charge of driving under the influence, resulting in death.
