Mauricia Cruz-Rodriguez Killed In San Benito, TX Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on September 26 in San Benito, Texas. Mauricia Cruz-Rodriguez died in a motor vehicle collision on FM 803 and FM 510 when a green and gold-colored 2013 Dodge Ram 1500 failed to stop at the 4-way intersection, triggering a collision with a Toyota and a black 2022 Hyundai Kona. Authorities say the Dodge was traveling at a high rate of speed prior to the crash. A passenger in the Toyota, Mauricia Cruz-Rodriguez, died due to injuries sustained in the wreck.
