A tragic accident occurred on May 27 in Willis, Texas, when Mark Simmons was seriously injured after being struck by a suspected drunk driver. The crash happened near FM 1097 while Simmons was working at his honey stand. The vehicle ran off the road, hit Simmons, and then crashed into a building. He suffered multiple broken bones and remains hospitalized. A GoFundMe has been launched to help with medical costs. We send our thoughts and prayers to his family.
