Mark Poe Arrested In Lake Wales, FL Accident

Tragic accident that occurred on June 26th in Lake Wales, Florida. Mark Poe was arrested in an alleged drunk driving accident that killed a 27-year-old on State Road 60. According to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office, the accident occurred when a vehicle driven by Poe collided with the victim’s car while traveling west in the eastbound lanes. Sadly, the woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities said that Poe had bloodshot eyes and his speech was slurred. Deputies also found an open beer bottle on the rear floorboard, smelled alcohol in the car, and located an open bottle of Jack Daniels Fire Whiskey on the grassy median near Poe’s vehicle.
