Alleged DWI accident on West Sam Houston Parkway South leaves one woman dead, child injured

A tragic accident occurred on february  24 in Houston, when Manuel Neri Mendoza was arrested after an alleged DWI accident on the 4400 block of West Sam Houston Parkway South service road. Authorities said a 42-year-old woman was killed when her vehicle was struck, while a 3-year-old boy suffered minor injuries. Mendoza allegedly fled but was detained nearby. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
