Malcom Hix Killed In Independence, MO Accident

Tragic accident that occurred on October 22 in Independence, Missouri. Malcom Hix died after a collision between two tractor-trailers along Highway 69. Hix was driving a 2006 Kenworth southbound when a 2021 Peterbilt entered the highway from a private drive. The Peterbilt attempted to make a left turn to head northbound, and the front of Hix's Kenworth struck the trailer of the Peterbilt. The collision caused both vehicles to come to a stop on the highway and catch fire. Hix was pronounced dead at the scene. The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
