Logan Dark Killed In Katy, TX Accident

Tragic accident that occurred on September 28 in Katy, Texas. Logan Dark sadly died after being struck by a vehicle while riding his bicycle to school in the 6000 block of Mason Road and Cinco Park. Dark was reportedly in a marked crosswalk when he was struck. Sadly, Dark was pronounced dead at the scene. A memorial has been created for the boy at the crash scene. According to the Fort Bend County District Attorney’s Office, the driver is facing charges under the Lisa Torry Smith Act, which is known as the "Crosswalk Law." It was named after a mother who was fatally hit by a driver in 2017 while walking her 6-year-old son to school in Missouri City. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
