Lionel Salas Arrested In San Antonio, TX Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on August 4 in San Antonio, Texas. Lionel Salas was arrested in connection with a motor vehicle crash on the West Side that claimed the life of a bicyclist at the intersection of Castroville Road and South General McMullen. The impact caused the man to fall from his bicycle where he was hit by a second vehicle and dragged to a nearby gas station. The victim, who was not publicly identified, was pronounced dead at the scene. The second driver, identified as 56-year-old Lionel Salas, failed a sobriety test and was arrested. The accident remains under investigation by SAPD. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
