Kris Simington Killed In St. Petersburg, FL Accident

Tragic accident that occurred on Sunday, January 30th in St. Petersburg, Florida. Kris Simington was tragically struck and killed by a hit-and-run driver while on an electric scooter trying to cross 66th Street North near 51st Avenue North. The victim fell to the pavement and was struck by a pickup truck, which fled the scene after the collision. Sadly, Simington was pronounced dead at the scene. The FHP is actively pursuing the hit-and-run driver. The crash remains under investigation and we send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
