Karon Siplen died in a head-on collision along Belltown Road when a motorist tried to pass a school bus in a no-passing zone and slammed into an oncoming vehicle head-on. Sadly, the driver of the second vehicle, 19-year-old Siplen, was fatally injured in the wreck. Two people in the first vehicle, both students at Granville Central High School, sustained unspecified injuries in the crash. The incident remains under investigation.
