Julie Starkey Killed In Harrison, IA Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on June 18 in Harrison, Iowa. Julie Starkey was killed in a collision with three motorcycles and a tractor-trailer on Iowa Highway 127. The Kenworth vehicle failed to negotiate a curve and ran a stop sign, overturning onto its side and striking a 2014 Harley-Davidson motorcycle. The bike went into a ditch where the driver and his passenger were ejected. One of the occupants of the 2014 Harley-Davidson – Julie Starkey was pronounced dead at the scene. State police continue to investigate the accident. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
