Motorcycle accident on Highway 9

Tragic accident that occurred on October 5 in Waukon, Iowa. Julie Geerts was critically injured in a motorcycle accident on Highway 9 when the operator of the motorcycle she was a passenger on failed to yield while attempting to turn. As a result, the motorcycle was struck by a Mercedes-Benz SUV driven by an 18-year-old woman. Geerts was rushed to the hospital for treatment of her injuries.  We send our thoughts and prayers to the victim.
