Juan Avalos Killed In Newhall, CA Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on March 5 in Newhall, California. Juan Avalos lost his life when he was struck by a motorist along Highway 14. Avalos was involved in a separate traffic crash when he started running across the southbound lanes into the northbound lanes, and ultimately was struck.  Avalos died from injuries suffered in the collision. The accident remains under investigation by CHP.  We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
