Joseph Baker Injured In Harrison, IA Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on June 18 in Harrison, Iowa. Joseph Baker was injured in a collision with three motorcycles and a tractor-trailer on Iowa Highway 127. The Kenworth vehicle failed to negotiate a curve and ran a stop sign, overturning onto its side and striking a 2014 Harley-Davidson motorcycle. A 2004 Yamaha motorcycle avoided contact with the truck, but he and his passenger were ejected from the bike. Joseph, the driver of a 2016 Harley-Davidson, dumped his motorcycle onto its side and jumped from the bike before being hit by the Kenworth. He was taken to the hospital for treatment. State police continue to investigate the accident. We send our thoughts and prayers to the victim.
