Jose Vera Injured In Le Grand, CA Accident

Motorcycle accident on Washington Avenue

Tragic accident that occurred on January 10 in Le Grand, California. Jose Vera suffered serious injuries when he was struck by a speeding motorcycle that fled from the scene after the crash. Vera was blowing leaves from his brother's home on Washington Avenue when he was struck by one of two racing motorcycles that were traveling on the wrong side of the road. Vera was knocked to the ground by the impact and suffered a fractured eye socket, a broken cheek, a dislocated jaw and a broken rib. Authorities are looking for witnesses and evidence to help apprehend the hit-and-run motorcyclist.  We send our thoughts and prayers to the victim.
