Jose Bonilla Killed in Houston, TX Accident

Tractor-trailer wheel struck paving crew

A tragic accident occurred on October 2 in Houston, Texas, when Jose Bonilla was struck and killed while working in a paving zone on Monmouth Street near the East Freeway. Authorities reported that a tractor-trailer traveling westbound lost a wheel, which struck a guardrail before landing in the work zone. The airborne wheel fatally hit Bonilla and injured two other crew members. The Harris County Sheriff’s Office is investigating. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
