John Gleason Jr., a loving grandfather, was tragically killed in a hit-and-run accident along Powder Mill Road. The driver that hit the loving grandfather fled the scene after the accident. The East Alton Police Department is searching for a tan vehicle with new front-end damage. Both the police and Gleason’s family are urging the driver to turn themselves in. Gleason leaves behind four adult children and eight grandchildren.
