Jessica Wright Killed In Spokane, WA Accident

Tragic accident that occurred on September 24 in Spokane, Washington. Jessica Wright was killed when the vehicle she was a passenger in was hit by an alleged drunken driver on Interstate 90. Troopers reported that a 2014 Kia, occupied by two women and two children, was hit on the rear by another vehicle near the Medical Lake exit, causing it to roll. A passenger in the Kia – identified as 32-year-old Jessica Wright, was killed in the crash. The driver of the vehicle that hit the Kia was identified as 23-year-old Philip Garcia. He admitted to drinking one beer before the crash, but a preliminary breath analysis indicated his blood alcohol content was more than twice the legal limit in Washington. Garcia was arrested by troopers on suspicion of vehicular manslaughter and driving under the influence. WSP continues to investigate the crash.
