Jeffrey Allen Killed In Randolph, NC Accident

Tragic accident that occurred on June 11 in Randolph, North Carolina. Jeffrey Allen lost his life when his vehicle was struck head-on by an alleged drunken driver on Loflin Pond Road, at Foxworth Road. Allen was driving a Nissan Xterra when a Ford F-350 truck, driven by Fernando Lopez, was speeding and collided head on with Allen's vehicle when attempting a turn. Unfortunately, Allen died at the scene. Lopez suffered minor injuries and was arrested. He was booked into the Randolph County Jail on suspicion of felony death by motor vehicle, driving while impaired, careless and reckless driving, and operating a vehicle without a driver’s license. Troopers continue to investigate the crash. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
