James Laffittee Killed In Birmingham, AL Accident

Tragic accident that occurred on November 25 in Birmingham, Alabama. James Edward Laffitte tragically was killed on Interstate 59/20 when his Buick was rear-ended by a Toyota Corolla. The Toyota driver fled the scene after the collision. Laffitte was taken to UAB Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. The Toyota driver, whose identity was not released, was later taken into custody by police. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
