A tragic accident occurred on October 3 in Houston, Texas, when Israel Medellin suffered serious injuries in a work zone crash. According to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, a tractor-trailer traveling westbound on the East Freeway lost a wheel around 9:50 a.m. The wheel struck a guardrail and went airborne, hitting multiple crew members on Monmouth Street. One man was killed, while Medellin was transported to a hospital with serious injuries. We send our thoughts and prayers to the victims and their families.
