A tragic accident occurred on April 26 in Adams County, Washington, when Iris Ramos Cruz was killed in a two-vehicle crash on Bench Road. Authorities said a driver attempting to pass struck a pickup carrying three girls, forcing it into a canal. Cruz and two other juveniles died at the scene.
