A tragic accident occurred on May 27 in Victorville, California, when a pedestrian was fatally struck by a Chevrolet Suburban near Reno Loop Road and Sorrel Way. George Batiste Thenarse, 50, was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence following the crash at approximately 8:57 p.m. The woman victim was transported to a local hospital, where she later died. Authorities continue to investigate. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
