Gary Klaum was seriously injured when the motorcycle he was operating was struck by a hit-and-run driver that blew through a red light at the intersection of Upper Falls Boulevard and Hudson Avenue. He was rushed to Rochester General Hospital where his family says he underwent surgery on his back and is also receiving treatment for broken rib cartilage and a punctured lung.
