Gabriel Taber lost his life when he was struck by a hit-and-run driver near the intersection of Two Notch Road and O'Neil Court. The driver immediately fled after the collision. Taber was pronounced dead at the scene. “We are working with the South Carolina Highway Patrol to fully investigate this accident”, a statement from the coroner's office said. Witnesses to the crash are urged to call SCHP.
