Gabriel Smith Killed In Abbeville, SC Accident

Tragic accident that occured on Saturday, January 30 at midnight in Abbeville, South Carolina. Gabriel C. Smith was tragically killed when the vehicle that he was a passenger in crashed with a drunk driver at the wheel. Smith was traveling in a Jeep Wrangler driven by 21-year-old Kaitlyn Kellett. They were near Highway 284 when the vehicle crossed the centerline, over-corrected, causing the jeep to run off-road, hit a ditch and a fence, before overturning. Smith was ejected and sadly died at the scene.  Kellett was charged with felony DUI, resulting in death. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
